Hi!
Hi! My name is Ashley and my hunger to learn and eagerness to step out of my comfort zone led me to WNDR Museum, Chicago’s first interactive art/tech experience.
I joined WNDR in its infancy and helped the company grow from its pop-up state to a permanent national museum as we expanded into new markets.
Most my time at WNDR was spent curating, producing, and project managing each detail for each WNDR exhibit. This included:

-
Concepting ideas and pitching WNDR’s founder
-
Managing each WNDR curatorial project from ideation to installation to deinstallation
-
Building, owning, and managing all timelines, schedules, and budgets for each WNDR exhibit
-
Writing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
-
Processing invoices, W2s, COIs, and other necessary paperwork
-
Coordinating installation schedules for each artist, designer, contractor, and vendor
-
Space planning and facility management to ensure electrical, HVAC and fire code requirements were in place
-
Understanding all AV and systems needs from internet to lighting to audio to projectors and more
-
Collaboration with third party vendors and contractors
Most recently at WNDR, I spearheaded the museum’s national expansion initiative bringing WNDR to 3 new markets across the Unites States: San Diego, Seattle, and Boston. Outside of scaling the business, I would say my biggest achievements in this role were 1) Reading and understanding architectural, MEP, and construction drawings 2) Understanding and applying for city permits 3) Building amazing, talented local teams.
While I recently stepped away from WNDR to pursue something different, I realized where I create my best work - collaborating to bring stories, design, and experiences to life.
